Here It Comes

Schools shake up schedule — 'Flex' approach will enable students to earn college credit
Livingston County Press and Argus - Livingston,MI,USA
"This is probably the most innovative thing that public high schools have had anywhere, ever," Howell High School Principal Bill Smith said.

---------------------------------

No, it won't allow students to earn college credit, because they can do that now through AP's and dual-enrollment. In fact, if they do enroll in LCC, they have to pay out-of-district rates and are disqualified from several scholarships because they're from Howell, even though the school is in our building.

What a joke.

Beware when any idea is promoted primarily because it is 'bold, exciting, innovative, and new.' There are many ideas that are 'bold, exciting, innovative and new,' but also foolish.
